This Is The Place

We went to This Is the Place for our Tuesday activity this last week. The kids always have so much fun there. Luke's been carrying around a map of the park that he got around Christmas time. I told him we were going their soon and he got so excited. He informed me that he wanted to ride the train. I told him we'd ride both trains but we would be doing other stuff too. His response to that was we could do the other stuff and he'd just ride the train with Grandpa. He was a little sad when I told him Grandpa wouldn't be coming this time because he would be working. He didn't whine too much to ride the train so that was good. He did get to ride the little train three times and the big train twice. We had lots of fun hearing pioneer stories and doing crafts. We were happy we could still go in the petting zoo and ride the ponies. We were a little worried since the barn burned down just after we went in May. We love going there and always make sure to go while the kids are out of school in the summer.
