This Is The Place

Some things never get old.  We've been going to This Is The Place Heritage Park every summer for awhile now and a couple of other times during the year.  We love going up there.

Luke had so much fun riding the big and little trains.  From the minute we got there until we left all he could talk about was riding the train.

Haley had so much fun washing clothes the old fashioned way she asked if I could start washing that way.  I don't think so!

My kids can't go up there without going to "school".  Haley spelled her name using the Deseret Alphabet.  Emmy did too but I didn't get a picture of that.  Luke had fun drawing on the little chalkboard.
After a ride on the little train Luke was talking to Ian.  He told Ian how much he loved trains.  Then he took Ian's hand and told Ian how much he love him.

Emmy didn't want to go in the petting coral.  Grandma stayed out with her and then convinced her to come in.  She even fed a sheep.  It was pretty funny to watch.  A sheep would have the bottle in its mouth and be sucking away and another one would push in trying to get it.  Emmy did pretty good considering her fear of animals.

We can't go without riding on the ponies.  Luke surprised us all by taking his turn.  It was fun to watch his face.  He wasn't too sure about it but he sure had fun and has been telling everyone about it.
We are so glad that Grandma and Grandpa get the Grandparents pass so that we can go and enjoy the park.
