Luke turns 3!!

Luke turned 3 on July 31st.  He woke up that morning and came into my room and told me he was 3 now.  He was so excited to celebrate.  We were getting ready to leave for the splash park and he decided he needed to open some presents, so we let him open the ones from Grandma and Grandpa.  He was so excited to get two new trains and a fishing puzzle.  He wasn't very happy with me that we were leaving and he couldn't stay home and play with them.

We met up with Jill at the Splash park in Herriman.  We had a picnic, cupcakes, and let the kids play for a couple of hours.  Luke had fun in the water and on the playground with Ian.  He was also very excited to get a Sir Topham Hat car for his trains.

Luke decided he wanted to go to McDonalds for dinner so we went and ate there so he could play on the playground.  After dinner we had to go up to the church and clean.  Thankfully there were a lot of people there and so we weren't there too long.

When we were done we came home and Luke was able to blow out candles and open his presents from us.  I think he had a very fun day.  I can't believe my baby is 3.  He's grown so much.  He is all about trains right now.  He is always wanting to go and ride the big train (Trax).  Happy Birthday Luke!  We love you!

How adorable! Ty loves trains too. I think it is so sad when the youngest turns three. It looks like you guys made the most of it though.
