Camping

We went camping at Capital Reef this last week.  We got there on Monday and came home on Wednesday.  That was enough for me.  Camping is not my favorite thing to do.  I much prefer sleeping in my own bed as opposed to a tent.

Zach, Haley and I went on a hike Tuesday morning.  Grandpa offered to keep Luke at camp since he's to big to carry in the backpack we have.  Emmy heard that they were going to go to the store and get a treat and she wanted to stay too.  I think I'm glad they both stayed and didn't come on the hike with us.  It was hot!!  We hiked to Hickman Bridge.
Tuesday night after dinner we went and hiked to Sun Set Point and Goosenecks.  Both were very pretty and fun to see.  This way Emmy and Luke got in a hike too.
On Wednesday Zach went for a bike ride.  The kids and I, along with Grandma and Grandpa and some of the Parry's, went to the Fruita Schoolhouse, Petroglyphs, and the visitors center. During the whole trip we saw lots of dear by the campsite.  At first Luke was calling them horses, but by the end of the trip he called them dear.
