4th of July
This year for the 4th of July we decided to do things a little differently. We didn't go down to the parade in Provo. Instead we had a pancake breakfast with neighbors and a bike parade. Zach did his first triathlon in Pepperwood that morning. The kids enjoyed decorating their bike/scooter/car and going around the block a couple of times.
After that we met up with Jill and kids in Sandy to do the arts and crafts. The kids made visors, which we threw away, puppets, bracelets, scratch art, foam animals, airplanes, and got their faces painted. The face painting was amazing. I loved all of their faces.
After that we went and visited Grandma and Grandpa to show them how cute their faces were and get some last minute camping stuff worked out. Then we went and saw Grandpa Paul and Grandma Jacque since they was in town for the holiday. When we got home Zach and the girls went swimming while I tried to rest a little and Luke played. Then we had a BBQ with friends. Lots of good food and good company. After that we went over to Ryan and Summer's for some Karaoke. After singing for awhile we went to go watch the big fireworks in Sandy. Luke loved watching them this year. When those were over we drove back home. Luke fell asleep so he came home and went straight to bed. Zach and the girls headed over to Spence's for a fire pit and fire works and smores. I stayed home and cleaned up the kitchen a little then went over and had a smore and then came home to bed.
It was a fun day. Kind of nice to mix things up a little and do something different. We are so glad that we have such great friends to hang out with.

I like that you did the collages.
I don't know what's easier... downloading each individual picture, or making the collages. But I do like the collages.
