Decorating the Tree

We decorated the tree yesterday. While I was out fighting the crowds Zach worked on the tree. He gets the job every year of taking the tree out of storage and making the branches all look good before we decorate. After I'd been home for a little while we pulled out the ornaments and put them on the tree. Luke had lots of fun trying to figure out how to hang the ornaments on the tree. It often took him several tries before it would stay. Several of our glass balls didn't survive the move but oh well. Emmy wouldn't hold still enough to get her picture taken.


We found some stockings after we were done with the tree (I have a lot, since the kids have gotten one every year from Zach's work) and Luke wanted them on. He tried to do it himself but in the end needed some help.

Thanksgiving was nice. I had the camera with me but didn't ever take it out to take any pictures. It was fun to get up really really early (3:30) to go shopping on Friday with my mom, Jill and Natascha. I wouldn't do it if I didn't go with them. I made Zach go until I started going with my mom.
