Christmas Party #1

Today was the annual Christmas Party for the kids at Zach's work. The kids were so excited when they received their letters from Santa on Monday inviting them to come and see him. We had a yummy breakfast. Then the kids went and got their faces/arm painted. I really didn't think Luke would be to interested in it. But he was happy to have a purple snake painted on his arm.

Emmy was first to sit on Santa's lap. She told Santa that she wanted the polar bear webkinz, and a doll stroller. She was only prepared to tell him about the webkinz and came up with the doll stroller when he asked what else. After sitting on his lap she was given a stocking with a polar bear in it and lots of other stuff.
Luke was next to sit on Santa's lap. He wouldn't have anything to do with Santa last year and we really didn't think he would this year. But he surprised us. When we told him it was his turn he walked right up to Santa and sat on his lap and said "cheese" for his picture. He needed a little help telling Santa what he wanted. We helped him say Thomas and Elmo stuff. He got a stocking full of treats as well as a red bear with wings since Elmo's red.

Haley was last and told Santa she wanted some tinkerbell toys, and a doll and teddy bear. She was given a white teddy bear in her stocking.
After seeing Santa we had to go and get some balloons. Luke got a dinosaur, Haley Rudolf, and Emmy got a polar bear holding a heart. The pictures of those didn't work out so great. While we were standing in line we watched a magician. He was pretty entertaining.

I told the kids they couldn't take things out of their stockings until I got a picture. I've wanted to every year but never did. So here is a picture of everything Luke got minus the teddy bear.

It was a fun party. I'm glad we went and that Zach's work puts this on for the kids every year.

WOW! Sounds like a fun party. I have never heard of an office going to so much work for a family holiday party. That is cool.
