Catch Up
Emmy started Kindergarten yesterday. She was so excited to finally be going to school. I've been worried about her getting ready on time, because she tends to be a little flighty in the morning, but so far we haven't had a problem. She comes home and is excited to tell me about her day. I'm so glad that she is going and having a good time.
Here's the picture of Haley on her first day of school. I'm finally getting around to posting it. She is enjoying school more and more. She was even chosen to be "Brimbles" friend and so he will spend a total of a week with us and then she will be spot lighted on Friday.
This is a picture of the girls waiting for the bus to come. We've walked Haley to the bus every morning and this was the first time Emmy could get on the bus and go to school with her.
Luke isn't so sure about both the girls being gone. Yesterday he kept trying to walk to the bus stop. When he would get down to the end of the driveway I would tell him to come back and he would cry and say, "Haley, Meme, bus". It was kind of funny. He kept saying their names over and over again. Poor kid, he's lost without them.
This is just a funny picture of him. He decided to climb into the bathtub without getting his clothes off. When Zach tried to take them off he would freak out. I don't know what's happened but the kid doesn't like baths anymore.
And this last picture is mostly for my dad. He planted some seeds and didn't use all of them at his house so he gave them to me. And I finally have two flowers from them.
So there is a little update. Things are a little crazy trying to get back into the swing of school and homework but I'm sure we'll get it figured out soon. Our next big event is Haley turning eight and getting baptized. Put September 27th on your calender and you'll get a formal invite soon with all the details.
