Downtown

Last week Luke came to me and told me he wanted to ride the train downtown. Lucky for him we had it in the plans for our next Tuesday activity. All weeks he's been putting stuff in his backpack for the trip downtown. We got off the the train by the Temple and went on the grounds. In the south visitor center they have a model of the Salt Lake Temple and they've cut away walls so you can see what it looks like inside. The kids really liked looking at that.

No trip downtown is complete without a stop and the Church History Museum and the I Am A Child Of God exhibit. My kids love it. It was a little crowded when we first got there but after a while the kids were able to get a baby and "take care" of it.

After we were done at the Museum we headed over to the Gateway. Zach met us for lunch, then we went to Barnes and Noble for a free book and ended up at the fountains to play in the water. Luke wasn't too into getting wet until it was time to leave. He's already asking me when he can go and ride the train again. Maybe once the girls get back in school and it is just Luke and I. It was a long fun day.
