Liberty Park

On Tuesday we went to Liberty Park. The kids really enjoy going there and playing in the water. Luke liked it much better this year. We played on the playground and ate some lunch and then went over to play in the canyons water feature.



Luke liked swinging as long as I was right there but if I left to go and push one of the girls he would let go and kind of freak out.

Emmy loved swinging and was even doing pretty good at pumping.

Luke loved playing in the water at the canyons. He had so much fun going in and out and walking around. I thought I lost him a couple of times.

The kids were able to go on a ride. Luke had his first experience riding a carousel. He wasn't sure whether to be happy or scared when it first started. My pictures of him didn't turn out very well so hopefully mom got at least one.



It started raining while we were there and it wasn't just drizzling. We stood under a building for some shelter to wait it out. It kind of lightened up a little but we ended up walking in the rain.

Luke fell asleep while we were waiting to go to the car.

Wow not even one picture of Haley. She was always off playing and I couldn't get her or maybe I didn't pull out my camera enough. Oh well! It's too bad that it started to rain. The kids could have played longer. We had to walk in the rain to get to our cars and were pretty wet when we got there. The drive home wasn't that fun because of the rain. I was driving through lots of BIG puddles and in some spots the rain was coming down so hard I couldn't see very well. But we made it without too much trouble. It was a fun day. Too bad the rain shortened it.
