Seeing as I am allergic to beestings, I would much prefer the shot from the doctor. And probably so would the rest of the family...
I'd rather get a shot. The pain is over pretty quick, but with a bee sting, the pain lingers. And I haven't had a bee sting in so long, I can't remember how long the pain lingers for. SHOT! (Can I say "neither"? That's really my first choice! But probably not a helpful answer for the homework!)

Shot!
Bees have a mind (and temper) of their own, and will sting you whenever and wherever they please. AND...it swells and throbs and hurts for much longer than a shot does.
A shot from the Dr. is better because they'll wait til your ready, you can count on it either being in your arm, your thigh, or your behind, and not inbetween your fingers like when I got stung there while on a run. (I know..totally random, but we basically collided on my run and it got tangled in my fingers, then throbbed like the dickens because my blood was pumping from the run. Not good.)
Shots are also much better because you can know what to expect, and when.
I vote SHOTS!
