Brick Oven and Ryan Shupe

As I said in my last post, on Saturday night we went to Brick Oven for dinner. While we were there we were visited by the balloon guy. He made Haley a Tinkerbell and Emmy Cinderella. Usually when we have people make us stuff with balloons it is very simple stuff like flowers or dogs or swords but never anything this much. So here are pictures with them and their balloon friends...

After eating at Brick Oven we went to Highland for a concert in the park. We were finally able to see Ryan Shupe and the Rubberband. We enjoyed listening to them play for 2 hours.

Luke didn't mind the loud music and even enjoyed the fireworks without crying. I couldn't resist this picture. He started on milk instead of formula now that he's one and I try to give him his milk in a sippy cup so that I can put the bottles away. Sometimes he gets a little too much in his mouth and spits it out.

Haley and Emmy talked us into buying them these fun headbands and they enjoyed using up the rest of our glow sticks. They had braclets, necklaces, earrings, belts, and whatever else they could make out of them.
It was a pretty fun night and the best after fireworks traffic I've been in...(none).

We've found out that Ryan Shupe is doing another free concert in Midvale on the 18th of August and if we aren't too tired from our swimming at Seven Peaks then we will be there. It was a very enjoyable evening.
