I love to see the temple....
On the sixth we were able to go to the Draper Temple open house. I have been waiting to take my kids to a temple open house for so long. I remember going through the Bountiful Temple and also the Mount Timpanogos Temple. I was so excited when the Draper Temple and the Oquirrh Mountain Temple were announced and am so glad that my kid have the opportunity to go through them. We were lucky to have my parents join us. We met at a Stake Center in Draper and viewed a movie about Temples. After the movie the Sister Missionaries told us we would be boarding a blue bus. That was all Luke needed to hear. He was ready to get on the "blue" bus and go for a ride. My mom walked with the girls and pointed lots of stuff out. The Temple was so beautiful inside. When the tour was over I was kind of disappointed that it went so fast. I really wanted to go through again. There were some nice informative displays in the Stake Center by the Temple that we could look at while we waited for a "blue" bus to take us back to our car. If you don't have tickets to go, get one. It is well worth the time it takes. I'm so glad that my girls were able to go inside and see what the Temple looks like. Haley is already looking forward to going back when she is 12, and I'm sure Emmy is too.
