Haley's Baptism

Wow!! What an awesome day!! My baby girl was baptized. For me it has been an emotional day. We are so proud of Haley and her decision to be baptized. Luke was quite the little stinker. Thankfully our neighbor, Ryan, took him so that I could enjoy the meeting and not have to fight with him. We had great support from our family and also our friends.



Tomorrow is our Sacrament meeting program. Haley's part is to give a 30 second talk on what she felt when she got baptized. This is what she is going to say...

I was baptized yesterday by my dad. In the morning when I woke up I was sad. I didn’t know what was wrong but something was bugging me. I think it was Satan trying to make me make the choice that I shouldn’t get baptized. But I pushed myself and pushed myself to go and I was baptized and I felt all better. When I got out I was shivering and my teeth were chattering. I felt happy, good and warm and clean. I am glad that we can all get baptized. It is one step for us to make that will get us back to our Heavenly Father. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

A funny thing that happened that is kind of an inside joke for my family is when Grandpa was bearing his testimony, Luke stood facing him "showing him his button." You missed out Kevin....
