Sleepy Boy! And other stuff.

This kid will fall asleep anywhere as long as he's not in his bed. This was last Thursday when I was in the kitchen making orange rolls. He decided he was tired and took the towels off the stove and used them as a pillow. He slept there for over an hour. It sure made cooking the orange rolls hard but I wasn't willing to disturb him. He will often fall asleep on the floor with a pen in hand and paper close by, or playing with toys. He's taken over Zach's side of the bed to fall asleep at night. I think right now he is probably asleep in his high chair. Now if I could just get him to go to his bed when he is tired and ready to fall asleep...

On Friday we went to the Kindergarten Orientation for Emmy. Part of me can't believe that she is going to start Kindergarten this next school year and the other part of me can't wait till school starts. I can't believe how old my kids are getting.

In other news... On Saturday morning Haley and I went for a 2 mile run and then walked another half a mile. We did it before the air was so bad. It was kind of fun to get out there again. I haven't done anything since my 5K on July fourth last year. We are getting ready to run a 5K in Springville the first Saturday in June. Zach ran this one two years ago and because of soccer last year and other things we weren't able to run it. Now I just have to keep up with the running so that I can do it. It is a cheap race and they have great prizes afterwards. With any luck having three people to win the prizes we just might get one this time.
